Circularity
Addressing circularity in construction, a manufacturer requires a full product lifecycle approach and collaboration to enable systemic industry change. Using our new LIFECycle Product Circularity Framework, we’re building holistic roadmaps for our products, from design for disassembly through to end-of-life recycling.
Energy Efficiency
To impact on climate change, we need to achieve very high standards of energy-efficiency both in renovations of existing building stock and in new buildings, particularly in countries which are predicted to have very high growth in construction in the coming decades but where energy-efficiency is not embedded in the building regs.
Embodied Carbon
As building regulations improve to drive more energy-efficiency in buildings and as more of the world’s energy sources move over to renewable energy, the carbon linked to materials and construction will become the major part of the building’s footprint. We’re working hard to reduce the embodied carbon in our products.
